I love Dirty Dancing! (The movie, that is.) I used to watch this movie all the time with Julie when we were younger. However, I don't think I completely understood it back then. Mainly the whole storyline about Penny, and the abortion. I guess I wasn't old enough at the time to know what they were talking about. Especially when they kept referring to her pregnancy as "got herself in trouble." Also, the whole setting of the film threw me off. The family is vacationing at some resort called Kellerman's. It's sort of like a summer camp for the whole family. Rich family. I've never heard of such a place and I never really got it. Aside from all that, the movie is awesome. Great love story. Fabulous dancing. Every time I watch this movie, I fall in love with it all over again. It's a classic. How can you not love this movie?
