Adventures In Babysitting

Adventures In Babysitting is definitely one of the top 10 best movies of the 80s. I absolutely love it.
Brief synopsis: Chris thinks she's going to have a nice quiet evening of babysitting. But things change when her friend, Brenda, calls her from downtown. She's runaway and needs to be picked up. So Chris loads the kids into her mom's car, hops on the freeway, and one of the tires pops. From there, things go from bad to worse and many "adventures" ensue. You've seen it. You know how it goes. The movie has many funny moments and is a lot of fun to watch. Not to mention it has the best opening sequence of any movie EVER. How can you not get a thrill when you hear the music start "dun, dun dun dun..." and then Elizabeth Shue jumps into the scene lip-syncing, "Well he walked up to me and he asked me if I wanted to dance..." It's the greatest.


Chris: "Now boys, if either of you give me any grief I swear to God I'll kill you. Dead, murdered, stabbed."
Daryl: "Raped?"
