show and tell

Garage sales are dwindling down, but that doesn't mean I've given up yet! Yesterday, I found these super-cute shoes, like new, at a garage sale for $2. I had never heard of the brand Frye, but they looked and felt like they might be a good brand. When I got home, I looked them up and it turns out Frye is an expensive brand! They sell for $100 and up! I couldn't find the exact pair online, but this was close:

Lucky day!

I found this guy in a free box. Not sure what to do with him, but he was just too creep-tastic to leave behind. I'll probably end up throwing him away, just because he keeps crumbling. But I'll see what I can salvage. My first thought was that he would make a good friend for Norman. But he needs a good name. Suggestions?

And this little toy was $1.00, and tons of fun. The animals open up, and the mouse fits into the chicken, and the chicken into the pig, etc. Cute!

The head is really cool - is there something you can do to make it less crumbly?

I like the head, maybe a coat of thinned white glue might work. He'd be a great Halloween head for the front deck.
