We just got done watching 1986's version of "The Fly." Just as I expected, I ended the film feeling very nauseated. Not just from all the Jeff Goldblum sex with his 1986 haircut (eww). But from the gorey 80's special effects. I think I just about lost it myself when he vomited up fly acid, and his ear fell off shortly after. I'm not even sure if I liked the movie. Really, if you transported yourself and accidentally got your genes spliced with a fly, don't you think you'd just die? I don't think I'll rent the sequel. I've read that it's even gorier and my stomach just can't handle it. I wanted to post a photo of Mr. Fly, but in order to make him less scary, I added a cute Santa hat. I think it worked, don't you?

It definitely worked. When I first looked at the picture I said "Ew!" and then focused on the santa hat. It's a lot less eww with the hat. :)
