I took today off so I could "hopefully" finish the basement trim work, and maybe even the ledge. Yeah right. I finished the trim work almost. Sanded and painted 3 coats. I have one board left to nail to the wall. This is my first experience doing trim, and it is NOT as easy as it should be. For one, I don't have a nifty nail gun, so I'm doing it by hand. I've managed to bend nails, split wood, and make holes where there shouldn't be any. So basically, I'm creating more work for myself. But it will look beautiful in the end, and that's all that matters. I really love the white trim, and am liking the wall colors more and more. The klik klak I picked out even seems to work well. I can't wait until it's all done!!
I desperately need some Aleve.
