"the skinny" on life insurance

Ok, so maybe I am too skinny. According to the life insurance folks I am. The bastards denied me because of a "recent weight loss." I'm actually getting denied life insurance for not weighing enough. I'm still completely baffled by this, not to mention extremely PISSED OFF. According to my records, my last doctor visit I was at 115. When they weighed me for the application, I was down 10 pounds. It doesn't matter at all that my blood work came back and I'm in perfect health. No, of course not. Stupid stupid stupid. I explained to my insurance guy about the dairy thing, but he can't do anything about it. It all goes through an underwriter, and it's their decision. The only thing I can do is wait 6 months, when they'll review my application. If they weigh me again, I'll be sure to wear 5 layers of clothes, and have some weights in my pockets. Anyway, just had to rant about that. I'm seriously kinda bummed. Let's just hope I don't die.
