and we thought it was over

After waiting over 3 weeks for our last Flex-Spending check to arrive in the mail, I started to get nervous. After all, we've lost mail recently, even after writing to the P.O. and explaining that our mailbox keeps getting left open, and the wind blows our mail out. They of course blame it on neighborhood kids "playing a prank." I blame it on the post person not shutting our box. Actually, I think we might just replace the box with one that shuts tighter. So anyway, I called the Flex people to ask if they had sent the check out yet, and find out when I should expect it in the mail. Well, they never even got the paperwork and receipts I sent in! The receipts were from the last 5 weeks with the ex-daycare lady. So the only thing I can do is go back to her and ask for another receipt. Crap. I made Jer do it.
