IV for Ivy
So I just got home today around 1pm. Spent the entire weekend in the hospital with Ivy. She started vomiting on Friday night. She couldn't hold anything down. Every time I fed her, it all came back up. She eventually was just puking up stomach acid. It was so scary. Saturday morning we went to the clinic, and they sent us to the hospital. She was dehydrated, so they hooked her up to an IV to get fluids in her. She had some kind of stomach flu. So I stayed with her there for two nights. She's better now. I suppose every parent ends up at the hospital with their kid at one point or another. I just didn't expect it to be so soon. She's 2 months old now.

Poor Ivy- Poor Emily! I'm glad to hear that Ivy is doing much better.

actually she's still sick, but better than she was. now i'm getting sick.
Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear the sad news. It is so scary when babies get sick, especially for a fisrt time mom. You probably feel like a robot on auto-pilot about now. I wish you all a speedy recovery.
