In an effort to save on gas money, we bought a new car for Jer last weekend. Hopefully, most of our hauling days are over, and it will be ok that we're giving up the truck. It was a little scary because it just sort of happened impulsively, but the little '99 Beetle is here to stay. The goal is to pay it off ASAP, by means of selling the truck, and collecting a nice tax return next year. In the meantime, we have another monthly payment, which is kind of stressful.Only adding to the stress of our lives, is the fact that our water heater seems to be dying. Or something. Our showers have become very short. The water starts out nice and hot, but cools down quite quickly. We tried resetting it, no luck, We drained out the sediment. Still no good, but at least we now have a clean water heater. Our next move is to attempt to remove the heating elements and clean them. If that isn't it, then I guess it's time for a new water heater. Suckville.
In other stressful news, six customer service employees were fired from my company the other day. The reason I heard is because we're slow. It sort of shakes me up a bit.
PS. I just noticed in the photo, that if you look in the background and see the house where those two minivans are parked in the driveway, that's our daycare. Nice and close.
