the flood

Well, yesterday the basement was bad. Today, the basement is much worse. At least yesterday, the water seemed to be confined to one side of the basement. Today, it's coming from all directions, any little crevice it can find. The dehumidifier is doing no good. It can't keep up when it's like this. There's just no point to trying anything until it stops raining, which will be never (or hopefully tomorrow, according to my weather widget). What I could use is a wet-vac. Anybody have one I could borrow? I just hope nobody wants to look at our house this week, I think I'd probably say no. This is all putting me in a really bad mood.
