Well, the job didn't pan out. I got an email saying they wouldn't be able to meet my salary requirements. They could only afford to give me $10 an hour, which unfortunately would be a major pay cut. It wouldn't even be possible to get by on that. So on with life. I'm hoping my job will get better in the long run, once I'm cross-trained in the prepress area. I actually brought up my concerns with my boss about a month ago, and he said we'd all eventually train over there and that he isn't concerned. In the meantime though, it's still pretty boring. And I don't think I'll never get onto first shift, which sucks. But for now, it's ok since daycare is FUCKING expensive.
So in much happier news, I had my first prenatal visit today. Well, the exam part wasn't fun, as they never are. But Jer got to be in there and watch the tortured looks on my face, so that was cool. The best part about the visit was getting to hear the baby's heartbeat! It was very very cool. It made me feel happy. Like wow, there's really something there.

What was the heart rate?
Jer said it was 160. I guess I wasn't paying attention. I don't know what that means anyway.
