Contest!

I won a contest! I won a contest! Well, 3rd place, but it still counts. Wrockstock had a little contest where you downloaded an mp3 file and had to name the songs and artists. The file was about a minute and a half, and had 29 clips, and the songs were all sped up to sound like chipmunks. I knew about half, and had to research the rest. I only missed two of the songs. The first place prize was a free pass to Wrockstock, so I'm a little sad I didn't win that. But third place got me a Wrockstock hoodie, posters, and DVD! Still cool!

Anyway, thrifting was dead this weekend. Last weekend we hit up the Unique Thrift Store in St. Paul. I scored a few good finds:

A 1986 Little People barn for $3.80. Still moos when you open the door!

Pac-Mania NES game for $1.80

And a bag full of toys, which included a vintage Lotsa-Heart Elephant, for $2.60. His tummy is kind of worn off, but I couldn't just leave him there! The Strawberry Shortcake dolls I found at Savers for $1.49.
