As if I could have seen it only once. Yeah right. So I picked a great time to see the movie again - 9pm on a Sunday night. There were a whole 25 people in the theater with me. Perfect. Got to see the HBP trailer this time. Woot! The downside was when I realized about 5 minutes into the movie that I had to pee. But was I getting up to go? I don't think so. By the end, I was squirming in my seat. It only sucked because it took up that tiny extra portion of my concentration that I could have been using on the movie. Oh well. I think the second time seeing it was better than the first. It was seriously awesome. So I just have to post some more random thoughts about the film:
-I love the way the movie is so subdued. Nothing is overly dramatic or overdone. From the music, to the color, to the special effects (or lack of). Actually, I like that there aren't a lot of special effects, and that it's just so basic and simple. I think it really reflects the style of the book. Love it.
-My favorite detail that I caught this time: Victoria wearing the "Kiss Me I'm Irish" T-shirt. I guess the red hair, yeah. Hilarious! Even vampires have a sense of humor.
-I love the Bella/Charlie relationship. It matches the book so perfectly with the awkwardness.
-Kristen Stewart is the perfect Bella. I think of all the actors, she really works the best.
-I was watching Jasper to see if I noticed any of his scars. But then again, I guess my "weak human eyes" wouldn't detect them anyway.
-I noticed one glaring omission from the movie: the explanation of the title "Twilight." In the book Edward explains it as the easiest time of the day for them, or something like that. I'm curious what the DVD will have for deleted scenes.
-My favorite scenes are the ones with the Cullens. I love, love, love the cooking scene. When they leave the kitchen, Edward looking like his family is embarrassing, just like any other family. So cute. And my other favorite is the baseball scene. It's so perfect and it's fun! And I hate baseball! What makes it super awesome is the Muse song. It just totally rocked!
Now I'm really looking forward to New Moon, especially since they are definitely filming it! I'm actually looking forward to seeing Jacob get more screen time. I didn't like the book the first round because of the lack of Edward, but I loved it the second read. And by the end of the series, I really loved Jacob as a character too. Anyway, that's all I've got for now!
Until the next round...

I love in the kitchen scene when I think it was Rosalie that says "Is she even Italian?" and Emmett says "Her name is Bella!"
I'm so excited that you got to see it again so soon.
Also, in New Moon news, the script is apparently already finished. Out of control!!!
Something I caught the third time (yes, I've seen it three times...) that you mentioned in this entry:
The shirt Victoria is wearing is actually the shirt that Charlie's friend was wearing before they killed him. James took his jacket and Victoria took his shirt.
Yeah, someone at work said that when I mentioned it. I'll have to watch for it next time!
